Hello Everyone!!!!!

After putting it on hold for so many years, I am so excited to write a blog finally.  I have been pondering what my first post would be.  With a busy life as a mom, nurse, girlfriend, friend, etc., getting those creative juices flowing takes some time.  Here I am finally!!!

Lucky enough I get to blog about two things I love: FASHION and TRAVEL!!!!

This past weekend I went into the City of Brotherly Love… that’s right Good Ole’ Philadelphia, or if you’re from there commonly called Philly.  For a while now I have wanted to do a photo shoot at Philadelphia’s Magic Gardens because it is GORGEOUS!!!! A fantastic backdrop to make one classy photo and show off one of my favorite dresses!!!

Our day started out at Philadelphia’s Magic Gardens (PMG) around two o’clock and boy was it hot!! Sweat was pouring everywhere.  Not suitable for a photo shoot, lol!  Note to self – do not choose one of the hottest days of the year to take photos outside.

Philadelphia’s Magic Gardens is a magnificent work of art and it is located along Philly’s historic South Street!!  Be prepared to be amazed at the creativity, talent, and craftsmanship created by Isaiah Zagar, who is an award-winning mosaic mural artist.  Not only can you enjoy his mosaic creations at the PMG, but you can find murals throughout the city.

If you have a love for all things art, I believe you will have a mesmerizing experience.  Even if your not an art lover Philadelphia’s Magic Gardens will inspire your creative mind.  It is not everyday that we are able to see half a city block built using glass and ceramic fragments and other recycled objects.

TRAVEL TIPS:  Purchase tickets online prior to arriving, you will be able to go right in, while others will have to wait in possibly a long line.  Tickets are by time, but really they let you in right away whenever you arrive for the most part.  Tickets range from free for children 5 and under, and from $5-10 depending on age for others. Expect to spend at least an 1.5 hours to enjoy the beauty and take photos.
