My Favorite Faux Lashes

Soooo…….. Recently, I went to Ulta to buy fake eyelashes for my daughter and as I was looking for the ones that she wanted I noticed a pair that looked very real.

Now I have never put fake eyelashes on my self, or should I say I have tried to no avail.  I decided that the lashes were so beautiful that I needed to give it a go again.

The lashes I chose were Ardell Lash Faux Mink Demi Wispies!!  Over the cheer weekend I put them on and I could not be happier about the results!!!

There are a few types of adhesive glue products that I love and a few that I want to experiment with.  The first time I applied the lashes I tried the Kiss Lash adhesive, which can be bought at Walgreens!!!  I am super impressed with the Kiss lash adhesive because although I know we are supposed to take the lashes off nightly, I left them on because they looked amazing and truth be told I wanted to wear them a second day without the hassle of putting them back on, lol.  The Kiss lash adhesive worked miracles, my lashes did not move overnight and the lashes were perfect!!  I received so many compliments on my lashes.  I felt absolutely beautiful.

The second time I applied the lashes I used Duo Eyelash Adhesive, which seems to be everybody’s favorite.  The Duo adhesive in my opinion is good if you are only wearing the lashes for a day.  The lashes stay on, but by the end of the day the edge of the strip starts to lift.  What I love about the Duo adhesive is that removal of the eyelashes is much easier.

So if you want a strong hold, definitely go with Kiss, but be prepared to work a little to get the lashes off.  If a light hold and easy removal is what you’re going for, Duo is your adhesive.
