Favorite Thanksgiving Traditions and My Holiday Outfit!!!

What are your favorite traditions during the Thanksgiving holiday?  Is there a special food that your family makes, do you visit extended family, do you go to the movies?  What makes you happy on Thanksgiving?  

Thanksgiving is an American holiday celebrated on the fourth Thursday of November.  What does Thanksgiving mean to you and your family?  Thanksgiving for our family is about giving thanks to God for all of our blessings; family, friends, and health.  Thanksgiving is also spending time with family and enjoying a delicious meal together.  Thanksgiving time is about intentional thanks and reflection.

My favorite tradition during Thanksgiving is visiting extended family!!  Throughout the year life is pretty busy with my kiddos activities, work, my schoolwork, and just life in general.  Carving out time to hang out can often times lead to cancellations and then never finding the time to spend together:(

Thanksgiving day is the one day I know my family will be in one place.  The one day I know I will feel genuine happiness.  I also love that every year when visiting my Aunt’s house, she always has apple pie for me.  LOL, one year she didn’t have it and I was slightly sad.  I am all about tradition.

Every holiday I also love to get dressed up.  This year I have the perfect outfit in my head.  Not sure if it is the one I will end up wearing, but it is on the list!!
